Join the BMTP Team

BMTP is built by people who genuinely care about brain health and community — researchers, creators, educators, and organizers.

Because we are a brand-new, grassroots initiative, all positions are currently voluntary, requiring just 2–5 hours a week.

Right now, our core focus is growing our community through free, accessible content like our podcast, Mindflow essays, and social media. We are looking for passionate founding teammates who want to do meaningful work, build their portfolios, and help shape BMTP from the ground up.

How It Works (Our Commitment to You)

To respect everyone's time and keep this project completely fair and risk-free, we operate on a transparent, milestone-based model:

• ✦ 3-Month Commitment Windows

  We start all teammates on an initial 3-month pilot phase. You are completely free to leave at any time. Every 3 months, we will send out a renewal agreement asking if you want to continue.

• ✦ The Future Pay Plan

  Our goal is to transition our core team into paid roles. Once we establish our community, we will introduce accessible monetization models (like ethical sponsorships, toolkits, or premium features). As soon as BMTP reaches a steady revenue baseline of $2,000 per month, we will activate our Profit-Sharing Plan, setting aside 30% of our net monthly profits into a dedicated pool to be split among our active core team members.

• ✦ Revenue-Dependent Protection

  If BMTP has not met its revenue goals yet, roles remain voluntary. Because future pay is tied directly to business revenue, if our income ever declines, payments will scale down or pause. If that happens, roles will temporarily return to voluntary status, and you will have the total freedom to pause your work or keep contributing until revenue recovers.

Roles we're looking for

• ✦ Research advisor

  Who we're looking for: Students and professionals in neuroscience, psychology, or public health who can help keep our content grounded and accurate.

  What you'll do: Fact-check Mindflow essays, source credible brain health studies, and translate complex neuroscience into simple, universal concepts.

• ✦ Content creator

  Who we're looking for: Writers, videographers, and designers who want to help make brain health communication clear and human.

  What you'll do: Write engaging website articles, produce/edit podcast audio, and design creative visual graphics for social media.

• ✦ Community & events

  Who we're looking for: Connectors and organizers who love bringing people together around a shared purpose.

  What you'll do: Organize online meetups or workshops, engage with our members, and build a welcoming, supportive space for our users.

• ✦ Marketing & outreach

  Who we're looking for: People who can tell BMTP's story clearly and help more people find us.

  What you'll do: Manage social media growth, build partnerships with other health educators, and run outreach campaigns for the podcast.
